February Online Partner Meeting: Key Updates and Next Steps

On 19th February 2025, the MyPEACE project partners gathered for an online meeting to discuss progress across various work packages, share updates, and plan the next steps. The meeting was attended by representatives from Le Laba, Outside Media & Knowledge, the European E-Learning Institute (EUEI), Momentum, Spin/Okret, and Le Rocher de Palmer.

Welcoming a New Project Lead

The meeting began with introductions, where Lou Pohin introduced Constance Michaud-Nancy as the new project lead for Le Laba, taking over from her role. Constance expressed her enthusiasm for joining the project and her familiarity with several partners, ensuring a smooth transition in project coordination.

Work Package Updates

Work Package 2 (WP2): Translation and Pilot Testing

  • Partners are finalising translations of WP2 documents into their respective national languages, ensuring accessibility for wider audiences.
  • Video Production: Sanja (Outside Media & Knowledge) proposed creating an introductory video to explain the WP2 resources, coordinating with Amma to finalise content.

Work Package 3 (WP3): Musical Sessions in Progress

  • The production of musical sessions is well underway, bringing together young people to explore music as a tool for peacebuilding.
  • Online Music Session: Kathryn (EUEI) will conduct a music session via video call, allowing for broader participation.
  • Denise (Momentum) is working with a university to secure participants for these sessions, ensuring strong engagement.

Work Package 4 (WP4): Training Event in September

  • A key milestone for WP4 is the upcoming international training event, scheduled to take place in Bordeaux, France, from 16th to 19th September 2025.
  • Each partner organisation will bring three young participants and one accompanying person to the event.
  • Two concerts are planned on 18th and 19th September, offering an opportunity for young participants to showcase their musical peacebuilding efforts.
  • Lou (Le Laba) will circulate a finalised agenda and programme for the event soon.

Next Steps and Action Points

To ensure steady progress, partners agreed on the following action points:
Constance (Le Laba) will officially take over project leadership and serve as the main point of contact.
Kathryn (EUEI) will oversee the completion of translations and pilot testing.
Sanja (Outside Media & Knowledge) will coordinate the production of the WP2 introductory video.
Denise (Momentum) will continue working with universities to secure participants for the musical sessions.
Lou (Le Laba) will send out a draft programme for the September training event as soon as possible.
All partners are encouraged to submit their social media posts and blog content to help promote the project’s impact.
