MyPEACE Workshop with a Song of Its Own

On Saturday, April 5, 2025, the musiclab once again transformed into a creative hotspot for the second time: Eleven music enthusiasts, aged between 15 and 35, answered the call to explore musical paths to peace together with coaches Krischan Lukanow and Teddy Oculi. They drew inspiration from classics like John Lennon's "Imagine," "Where Is the Love?" by the Black Eyed Peas, and "We Pray" by Coldplay. Legendary peace concerts like Live Aid and Woodstock also served as influences.

Then it got creative: Wadym from Ukraine brought an impressive melody, which Teddy Oculi complemented with fitting chords. Dividing into two groups—one for music, the other for lyrics and vocals—a song was created with two verses, a pre-chorus, a chorus, a guitar intro by Wadym, and a flute solo. The grand finale: the joint performance of the freshly composed song. The workshop was documented by "Outside Media and Knowledge" for the filmic documentation of the project. The song will soon be presented on our homepage.
