MyPEACE Roadmap: Engaging Youth in Peacebuilding Through Music

Welcome to the MyPEACE Roadmap – a practical resource designed to support youth educators and peacebuilders in using music as a tool for dialogue, inclusion, and civic engagement.

This roadmap brings together a methodology and a collection of real-world examples to help you guide young people in exploring peacebuilding through creative expression. Whether you're working in formal or non-formal settings, the materials are ready to use, adaptable, and grounded in the experiences of educators, artists, and young people across Europe.

Let this resource inspire new ways to foster empathy, connection, and positive action through music.

The MyPEACE Roadmap comprises two essential resources:

1

MyPEACE Roadmap Methodology

A practical guide for youth educators and peacebuilders on how to use music as a tool for supporting youth participation in peacebuilding. The methodology outlines key approaches, activity ideas, and guidance for working with diverse groups of young people in both formal and non-formal settings.

2

MyPEACE Compendium of Good Practices

A curated collection of 24 inspiring examples from across Europe showcasing how music has been used to promote peace, inclusion, and dialogue among young people. Each case includes context, approach, and outcomes, offering concrete inspiration for your own activities.
