Une Voix pour la Paix

The association Les Compagnons, supported by Moroccans around the world and committed to promoting dialogue, fraternity and cooperation between peoples organized in november 2025 the first edition of the project "A Voice for Peace" (Une Voix pour la Paix). Hosted in Marrakech, this special event is designed as a symbolic crossroads for dialogue, art, and African unity, gathering over 400 influential guests from the diplomatic, artistic, athletic, and humanitarian sectors. The primary ambition of the evening was to transform peace from a mere concept into a collective, sustainable, and living commitment across the entire continent.

The event’s concept relied on a multidisciplinary approach to peace-building. By combining intellectual reflection with artistic expression, it aimed to engage both the minds and hearts of its participants. The program featured reflective roundtables with experts and leaders discussed the major challenges and stakes of maintaining peace in Africa today, and artistic performances: creative acts were woven throughout the evening to illustrate the values of solidarity and fraternity.

The initiative "Une Voix pour la Paix" (A Voice for Peace) has evolved through a series of strategic international milestones prior to its major 2025 African edition. The movement was inaugurated in Rabat in 2022, where it established its foundational model of blending high-level diplomacy with cultural expression during the "Rabat, African Capital of Culture" celebrations. This was followed by a significant edition in Paris in 2023, which expanded the project's scope to include global humanitarian youth engagement. By 2024, the project returned to Marrakech for a preparatory forum, acting as a "think tank" to structure the intellectual and artistic framework that would eventually lead to the 2025 African summit.
